Obituary for William Robert Wright Jr.
William ‘Bill’ Robert Wright, Jr., 71, of Donalds, SC, husband of Patricia ‘Pat’ Wright, died Monday, February 1, 2021 at his home. He was born in Raeford, NC to the late William Robert Wright, Sr. and Mary Tiller Wright.
A graduate of Hazlehurst High School in Georgia, Bill also attended Georgia College. He was employed in textiles for many years with Tasco, the Rug Barn and the former Flexible Tubing. ‘Wild Bill from Abbeville’, as he was jokingly known, spent many hours on the open road on his motorcycle.
Bill is survived by his wife of 32 years, Pat; a daughter, Kimberly Cranmer (John) of Williamston, SC; a son, William Robert Wright, III of Donalds; and two sisters, Diane Hand (Burney) of Hazlehurst, GA and Carolyn Sink (Ron) of Greenwood, SC.
