Obituary for Tolly Harrison Price Jr.
Tolly Harrison Price Jr., 93, of Abbeville, husband of the late Julia Ferguson Price, died, Thursday, January 20, 2022, at the Iva Nursing Home. He was born in Abbeville, SC to the late Tolly Harrison Price, Sr. and Iva Simpson Price.
A 1945 graduate of Abbeville High School, he was employed with Milliken & Co. – Abbeville Plant, retiring after 45 years of dedicated service. Mr. Price enjoyed gardening, farming, fishing and rabbit hunting.
He is survived by his children, Tolly H. ‘Pete’ Price, III (Cindy) of Abbeville, Wanda Stein (Jim) of Mount Pleasant, SC, Pat Boyd (Jimmy) of Abbeville, SC and Kathi Price of Columbia, SC; six grandchildren, John Boyd (Stephanie), Renee Lumpkin (Stacy), Julie Mooney, Diana Green (Johnny), Suzanne Price and Tolly H. Price, IV (Lindsey); eight great-grandchildren, Drake Boyd, Sara Lumpkin, Dustin Lumpkin, Amanda Boyd, Anna Mooney, Ryan Green, Price Mooney, Aubrey Green; and a great-great granddaughter, Riley.
Graveside services will be 2:00PM, Monday, January 24, 2022, in Long Cane Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the graveside.
