Obituary for Steve Vernon Brown
Steve Vernon Brown, 51, of Simpsonville, died Monday, February 14, 2022, at his home. He was born in Abbeville to Alma Garner Parker and the late Charles Brown.
Steve was a graduate of Abbeville High School and formerly employed with Milliken & Co. – Abbeville Plant. He enjoyed playing guitar, golfing and eating Mexican food.
Steve is survived by his mother, Alma Parker; his daughter, Kirsten Brown (Chevy Hanks) both of Lowndesville; brother, Chris Brown (Donna), of Greenwood; and nephew, Joshua Brown of Greenwood, SC.
A celebration of Steve’s life will be 10:00AM, Saturday, February 19, 2022, in Harris Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, in memory of Steve, may be sent to Home With A Heart, 220 James Mattison Road #4900, Liberty, SC 29657.
