I've known Sammy for 30 years.  He shared many stories with me about his life and family.  He shared his  joy's and sorrows.  He became a part of our family and enjoyed many holiday meals with us.  He talked alot about his love for his family and children.  I look forward to seeing him again one day. God bless and our deepest condolances.

Sammy,  The day you walked into the gas station and saw me there I thought you was just a regular customer but little did I know you were going to become part of my little family. You stayed with me every night so I wouldn't have to close by myself. I can remember clear as day you telling me that you will always be there for me because you didn't want me to get hurt or robbed. Sammy I will miss our daily chats and our goodnight text messages. May you fly high with the angels. We will always remember and Love you! Love your little squirt/little bit Monika and family

Sammy, Thank you for being so good to my family & you know you are a part of our family! There was not a day that passed you were not at the office. The time you took out of your day to help Renita, Scott, Jordan, Russell, daddy & myself. All we had to do was call and you were there. You were our official car/truck inspector worth the cars on the lot... Your kindness & big heart to help a fiend in need will never be forgotten. Praising God, because you accepted Jesus Christ last week. Scott was so burdened for you. Saturday when you called to tell daddy you were going on ahead, he was so happy to hear you say, “You’ll see me again , Ansel!” Praise the Lord! I’ve known you since ‘89-‘90, and it was always good to hear you talk about the years we’ve known each other. You just told me a few weeks ago, “ I remember when you were expecting squirt “Ashley” and then little squirt “Kaylee”... So, thank you Sammy for being a dear friend to us all. We love you!! See you later. Melissa B
