Obituary for Ruby Barrett Napier
Ruby Barrett Napier, 84, of Abbeville, SC, wife of the late Marion E. “Squeaky’ Napier, died Monday, December 27, 2021, at Magnolia Manor – Greenwood, SC. She was born in Abbeville County to the late Calhoun SC and Ellen Prince Barrett.
A graduate of Abbeville High School, Mrs. Napier was employed with State Farm Insurance in Abbeville, retiring after many years of service. She was a faithful member of Little Mountain Presbyterian Church.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Napier was preceded in death by a brother, Ben Barrett and three sisters, Gloria Barrett, Emma Dubois and June Barrett.
She is survived by her son, Barry Napier of Abbeville; three sisters, Eula B. Morrison (Billy) of Greenwood, SC, Margaret Hughey of Dekalb, GA and Jessie Davis of Greenwood, SC; two grandchildren, Benjie and Becky and two great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Graveside service will be 3:00PM, Friday, December 31, 2021, in Little Mountain Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
