Roy Elizabeth Mundy passed away peacefully at her home in Columbia, SC on January 30, 2023. Born in Mullins, SC and reared in Nichols, SC, she was the daughter of the late William Roy Mundy and Lena Martin Mundy.

Ms. Mundy graduated from USC with a math major and received an additional degree in Computer Programming from Midlands Tech. She was employed by Blue Cross/Blue Shield Total Care Systems as a computer programmer, retiring with close to 49 years of service. Ms. Mundy was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her sister, Margaret Mundy Brady of Beaufort, SC; two nephews, Richard Brady of Beaufort, SC and Ryan Brady of North Augusta, SC; and her two beloved Boston Terriers, Mickey and Rocky.

A private graveside service for family and friends will be 11:00AM, Monday, February 6, 2023, in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ms. Mundy may be sent to Marion County Animal Shelter, PO Box 183, Marion, SC 29571.
