Obituary for Mildred Latham (Pennington)
Mildred Pennington Latham, 68, of Abbeville, wife of Billy Latham, died Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at her home. She was born in Thomson, GA to the late Melvin Lee Pennington and Beatrice Hendricks Pennington.
An upholsterer for most of her life, Mrs. Latham will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald and Craig Pennington and a sister, Melba Floyd.
Mrs. Latham is survived by her husband of 52 years, Billy; four sons, Spencer Latham (Tracy), Daniel Latham (Rhonda), Chris Latham (Patricia) and Tony Latham; brother, Donald Pennington, all of Abbeville; daughter-in-love, Trisha Hozey of Belton; and four grandchildren.
A celebration of Mrs. Latham’s life will be 1:00PM, Saturday, October 8, 2022, in Harris Funeral Home with Rev. Sam Duncan officiating.
