Obituary for Mary A. Brock (Fleming)
Mary Anna Fleming Brock, 80, of Honea Path, SC, wife of the late Bruce Brock, died Monday, December 27, 2021, at her home. She was born in Abbeville County to the late Ansel and Pearl Ashley Fleming.
Mrs. Brock attended Dixie High School. She was employed with Huggins Garment Co. in Donalds and retired from Wylie Care at the Renaissance in Due West as a caregiver. A member of Keowee Baptist Church in Honea Path, Mrs. Brock was a member of the WMU, leading Mission Friends and Children’s Church for 50 years. She leaves behind a legacy of love and care for her family and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby Earle Fleming and Johnny Fleming.
Mrs. Brock is survived by her children, Robin B. Brock (Michelle), Gerald B. ‘Brian’ Brock (LeeAnn) and Tracy K. Brock (Kelli) all of Honea Path; two brothers, Roddy Fleming (Hannah) and Rocky Fleming all of Donalds; three sisters, Syble Copelan (Ray) of Abbeville, Jean Martin (Clarence) of Anderson and Shirley Vaughn of Donalds; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two beloved dogs, Jack and Rango.
The family will receive friends 6:00PM – 8:00PM, Thursday, December 30, 2021, in Harris Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11:00AM, Friday, December 31, 2021, in Keowee Baptist Church, 4640 Keowee Road, Honea Path, SC with Rev. Richard Ashley, Rev. Tony Lee and Rev. Tony Hayden officiating. Burial will follow in Keowee Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests, memorial contributions in memory of Mrs. Brock, be sent to Keowee Baptist Church Building Fund, 4640 Keowee Road, Honea Path, SC 29654.
