Obituary for Kenneth 'Twenty' David Banks
Kenneth D. ‘Twenty’ Banks, 18, of Honea Path, died Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at his home.
Affectionately known as ‘Twenty’, Kenneth recently graduated from the SC Youth ChalleNGe Academy at the McCrady Training Center in Fort Jackson. He enjoyed being outside in nature, especially hunting and fishing. A member of Barkers Creek Baptist Church in Honea Path, ‘Twenty’ was loved by many and will be affectionately remembered by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Hill.
‘Twenty’ is survived by his beloved mother, Amanda ‘Kat’ Hill Searcy (Brandon); special parent, ‘Mama Kim’; brothers, Jake Hill, Christopher Stone, Drew Searcy, Matthew Klink, and Jason Klink; sisters, Brittany Hill, Erica Hill, Neeli Hill, Amanda Klink, Hazel Rose Hill, Krista Searcy and Kaley Searcy; and his grandparents, Evelyn Hill, Doris McGill and Carol and Gaylon Searcy.
The family will receive friends 1:00PM - 2:00PM on Friday, May 14, 2021 in Barkers Creek Baptist Church, Honea Path, SC. Funeral services will begin at 2:30PM in the church sanctuary with Pastor Wesley Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Winona Baptist Church cemetery, Donalds, SC.
