Obituary for Herbert A. "'N3HUK'" Wooley
Herbert A. “N3HUK” Wooley, 81, of Iva, SC, husband of the late Linda Mae Wooley, died Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at his residence. He was born in New Brighton, PA to the late Herbert A. Wooley and Vernice McKee Wooley.
A graduate of Beaver Falls High School in Pennsylvania, Mr. Wooley proudly served his country in the United States Army. He retired from the Zinc Corporation of America in Monaca, PA after many years of service. An amateur radio enthusiast, Mr. Wooley’s call sign was “N3HUK”. He was a Mason and member of the Monaca Center Masonic Lodge. Mr. Wooley worshipped at Midway Baptist Church in Abbeville, SC.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Warren Wooley and two brothers, James and Robert Wooley.
Mr. Wooley is survived by his two sons, Greg A. Wooley (Monica) of St. Cloud, FL and Robert G. Wooley (Tonya) of Iva, SC; brother, Paul Wooley, of Beaver Falls, PA; sister, Arlene Hill of Chagrin Falls, OH; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
All services will be private.
