Obituary for Gaynell K Parks
Gaynell Kimsey Parks, 92, of Calhoun Falls, wife of the late Charles Parks, died Saturday, January 29, 2022, at the Abbeville Area Medical Center. She was born in Calhoun Falls to the late Julius Arthur and Eula Saxon Kimsey.
Mrs. Parks was employed with Burlington Industries, retiring after many years of service. She was a member of Faith Harvest Fellowship.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Carl Kimsey and Julius Kimsey and two sisters, Edith Hammond and Alice Charping.
Mrs. Parks is survived by two sons, Robert L. Jordan (Karen) of Calhoun Falls and Louis H. Jordan (Bonita) of Arkansas; step-daughter, Debbie Frosch (Michael) of Washington; brother, Billy Kimsey (Martha) of Abbeville; sister, Elsie Anderson of Calhoun Falls; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
