Obituary for Dennis F. Grady
Dennis F. Grady, 75, of Savannah Lakes, McCormick, SC, devoted and loving husband of Carol Ann Sharland- Grady, passed peacefully into God’s loving arms on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at his home. His wife and daughter were present, as well as good friends, Hamp and Judy Holmes. He was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Rodger M. Grady and Thelma Krebs Grady.
Mr. Grady graduated from what is presently known as The New Jersey Institute of Technology, class of 1966. Employed with General Motors as a Professional Engineer for almost 30 years, he was a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. Mr. Grady was a member and Deacon of Buffalo Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas John Grady. Mr. Grady is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carol; three daughters, Donna Ann Reid of Lakeland, FL, Barbara Leigh Grady of San Diego, CA, and Janice Denise Grady-Lum of Rochester, NY; a brother, Rodger M. Grady, Jr. (Else) of Charlotte, NC; a sister-in-law, Linda Grady, of Pennsylvania; and five grandchildren, Megan, Brian, Hannah, Elijah, and Samantha.
