Obituary for Dedrea Brown
Dedrea Colleen Brown, 62, of Abbeville, SC died Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Magnolia Manor in Greenwood, SC. She was born in Abbeville to the late Ervin and Mary Little Brown.
A 1976 graduate of Abbeville High School, Dedrea retired from the Lander University Physical Plant. She was an enthusiastic Abbeville Panthers fan faithfully attending as many games as possible. When her health declined, Dedrea still listened to every game on the radio. She was full of life and time spent with family, especially her grandchildren, always brought a smile to her face. Dedrea was a member of Shady Grove AME Church.
She is survived by her son, Taz Brown (Kermille) of Powder Springs, GA; a daughter, Nakiya Cobb (David) of Abbeville; four brothers, Darrell Brown (Jackie) of Durham, NC, Donald Brown of Greenville, SC Jeffrey Brown of Abbeville, and Todd Dawson (Pamela) of Rex, GA; four sisters, Donna Wallace of McDonough, GA, Leslie Temple (Rev. Richard Temple, Jr.) of Greenwood, Alice Evans (Rev. Charles Evans) of Greenwood, and Karen Blackwell (George Blackwell) of Abbeville; and four grandchildren, Jade Brown, Airman David Cobb, Jr., William Cobb, and Yadira Brown.
