Obituary for Caleb P. Chihasz
Caleb P. Chihasz, 32, of Abbeville, died Wednesday, June 22, 2022. He was born in Greenwood to CP and Cindy Chihasz.
A 2008 graduate of Abbeville High School, Caleb also graduated from Piedmont Technical College in 2010. An outdoorsman, he spent many happy times with Stan and Susan Keaton and Ned and Willeyne McGill working on their farms. Caleb especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. An enthusiastic Clemson Tiger football fan, he found joy in following his team. Caleb worshipped at Little Mountain Presbyterian Church.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ruby Lawrence and Harold A. Lawrence and his paternal grandfather, Charles Paul Chihasz, Jr.
Caleb is survived by his parents of Abbeville; a brother, Clayton Chihasz (Nicole Hays) of Nebraska; paternal grandmother, Mary Evelyn Chihasz of Loudon, TN; girlfriend, Mandy Hunter; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A service to celebrate Caleb’s life will be 3:00PM, Sunday, June 26, 2022, in Little Mountain Presbyterian Church with Rev. Darrell Fetzer officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
