Obituary for Annie Louise Riddle (Morgan)
Annie ‘Clearcy’ Morgan Riddle, 86, of Woodruff, SC, wife of the late Dick Riddle, died Friday, April 7, 2023, at her home. She was born in Rutherford, NC to the late Floyd and Pearl Jolly Morgan.
Clearcy, as she was affectionately known, was a graduate of Swannanoa High School, Class of 1955. A member of Swannanoa, NC Presbyterian Church, she enjoyed gardening, painting, pottery and antiques.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Katherine and a grandson, Daniel Grubbs.
Clearcy is survived by a son, Darryl Morgan Riddle of Greenville, SC; two daughters, Karen Grubbs (Dale) of Woodruff, SC and Suzie Riddle of Greenville, SC; three grandchildren, Torrey Englishbe, Jessica O’Shields, Nicole Grubbs; and seven great-grandchildren, Brandon ‘Boot’, Connor, Kamerin, Paige, Kinley, Jasper, and Khole.
